Russian national standards strictly regulate the requirements to GI coils, which ensures high quality and reliability of products. Galvanized steel must comply with certain parameters of weight (thickness) of the protective layer, uniformity of coating, physical and mechanical characteristics.
The price of galvanized steel (GI) may vary depending on the technical characteristics and order quantity. Galvanized rolled stock is supplied in the form of long strips of metal, which are rolled in coils for ease of transportation and storage.
PPGI (Prepainted Steel Coils)
Corporation Kvazar offers coil stock with protective and decorative polymer coatings.
We apply polymer coatings onto cold-rolled, galvanized and stainless steel, aluminum, white tin by means of Coil Coating technology. We apply polymer coatings of 10-300 micron thickness (per side) onto metal strip with 0.2-1.5 mm (0.0078”-0.059”) thickness and 600-1500 mm (23.6-59”) width.
Polymer coatings perform protective and decorative functions. Prepainted rolled steel is used for the manufacture of sandwich panels, metal tile roofing, corrugated panels, fencing products, façade panels, standing seam roofing panels, industrial furniture, racks, white goods and industrial equipment.
